Default MAF upgrade

Got my larger MAF housing from TVT installed along with the "elbow" witht he vanes removed. After some driving to get it all checked out and make sure it was working OK, I tried some runs. (I had done some just before the 15 minute job of changing the two parts out.) First impressions are that it smoothed out the reving, right up to redline. Part throttle acceleration seemed the same, but flooring it at 3,4, and 5 grand in 3rd and 4th gear was much better. I think it completed the "good air in, bad air out" that all the mod's have done, highly recommend it if you do the 74mm throttle body mod.

Default Re: MAF upgrade

Further update: after getting some time on the car and (I assume) the car "learning" about it's new bug gulp of air, I notice better part throttle response, especially in the 3000 to 4500 range, and overall smoother acceleration that just seems to continue right 'til redline. One of my friends who has been in the car a lot even asked "what did you do this time?" after a fun drive...........
