Does anyone have information on a hands free cell phone adapter for the crossfire? The manual indicates that the stereo is set up to handle one but I have not been able to find any information on a compatible unit. Even Chrysler is stumped.

 

I recently purchased a cradle and hands free unit for a Motorola v60. It plugs into the lighter socket and plays and talks thru the radio at 88.3 FM. It is made by CCM and works very nicely.

 

I was hoping to find something that can be hard wired in so there would be no visible power cords, but at least CCM has made a step in the right direction!

 

received the CCM hands free cell phone adapter and it works ok. Couple of issues: If you have the 6-speed manual the shifter slightly bumps the cradle in 5th gear. Because of this you can't tilt the cradle towards the driver's seat to get a good view of the phone display. The sound quality is decent but it is obvious you are on a speakerphone. I picked mine up for $33 plus s&h and it is not a bad set up but it would be nicer if you could find something that is hardwired into the car so you could select a better location for the cradle. I am sure the CCM adapter would be a better choice for those of you that have automatics.
