If you are talking about the wrench or double wrench symbol reset, here are the instructions as posted from another thread.

1) Move the ignition switch to the “RUN” position

2) Within 4 seconds of moving the ignition switch into the
“RUN” position, press the reset button for the trip odometer
twice within one second The display for the FSS service
request is activated for 10 seconds

3) During the 10 seconds the FSS service request is displayed,
move the ignition switch to the “OFF” position
The FSS service request will continue to be displayed

4) Press the reset button for the trip odometer and
hold

5) Move the ignition switch to the “RUN” position

6) Continue to press and hold the reset button for the trip
odometer (about 10 seconds) until the audible signal
sounds and the new start distance appears in the display
The tool symbol should disappear at this time

Hi thanks for the reply, my engine light is on I think due to the Secondary air system so I am looking to connect to the ECU to check the fault codes, and reset it.

might be more than you're wanting to spend, but if you have an IPhone or IPod Touch:

PLX Kiwi Wifi - Connect your iPhone / iPod Touch to your car's OBD2 OBDII Port.
$150

plus the Rev app is $40

You can do it with a tool I use from AUTO ENGINUITY.COM It's their PC-based scan tool. Just load their disc into your pc for the software you need & hook up the OBDII connector to your car & follow the supplied handbook. You can run snapshots of your car, graphs, all kind of diagnostic goodies. Theres even a built in prog. for track & strip use by inserting your cars tire size, third member ratio etc. It's too expensive just to use to clear a CEL light or to find out what a code means. Mine was about $250.00 a couple of yrs. ago. Log onto their web site above to see if it's for you. I am in no way connected to this company period. One serious downfall using your P.C. as a scan tool is if you live in a cooler climate part of the year your P.C. screen will more than likely fade away when leaving a warm house & going into a cool to cold garage or outside setting. I never thought of this before ordering my setup. Good luck.

If your into performance, you can get the Zeitronix data logger which allows you to read the status, parameters, and also reset the CEL's too. Money, but if your into that end of the performance market, its really a value to look into, Grins Woody
