Air Pump bypass resistor
Hello guys,
I just bought myself an 03 Crossfire last Friday and unfortunately its already got issues.
My Secorndary Air Pump is fried which of course leaves me with the CEL on the dash.
I have read threads about by passing the Air Pump using a resistor and I was wondering if any of you guys would be kind enough to tell me what size of a resistor I would need to do this. My understanding is the pump only works for a couple of minutes and is pretty much useless thereafter. I have ordered the block of plates from TVT Design but I wanna get rid of the CEL!
I also have the BAS/ESP light on which would lead me to believe it could be an RCM issue, have yet to check this - but I have test the Air Pump and it is definately fried!
Thank you in advance.
