bosh intercooler pump

bosh intercooler pump

Got the new bosh intercooler pump today but it doesnt have the small hose connection under the electical connector,what does it do and can I just eliminate the hose.

You don't need it. It was just some kind of vent tube for the OEM pump. I just plugged the end of it wth a small screw.
