Will a cat back void my Warranty?
Will a cat back void my Warranty?
Hey guys!
I bought my crossfire about a year and a half ago, and when I purchased it from a chrysler dealership I was able to purchase an 3-year extended warranty. I just put on a magnaflow bolt on exhaust and I was wondering if i brought it in for work would they void my warranty?
Thanks Everyone!

Thanks
Thanks
Wiring harness decides to start touching the exhaust. Exhaust gets hot, wire harness melts and causes widespread damage to components or worse yet a fire.
So could it happen? Sure. Is it very likely? Nope.

This is such an awesome forum. Thanks for all your responses guys. The last question I have is whether or not an after-market exhaust could cause engine damage in the long run. I have been riding sport bikes for the last 6 years and immediately after purchasing a bike I would install a pipe but I always mated it with a different fuel-map computer to prevent valve damage. Is this a concern with lower-reving bigger displacement engines?
Thanks everyone!
Thanks everyone!
