Default Lambo style doors, anyone intrested?

Just seeing if there's any intrest in this mod. There is a company that will make a complete bolt on kit the only thing is that they require 10 orders to make the kit so i just wanted to see if anyone was intrested so i can setup a groupbuy.

I'll take the vertical doors. That'll keep my foot from gashing the speakers.

I think Crossfire doors should be vertical doors cause you have to open it too wide to clear your foot off the door. Plus, you need a bigger garage to fit it in without chipping your paint.

I think vertical doors are next to Upsolute mods.

Ive seen their website: www.verticaldoors.com

Looking over the site VerticalDoors.Com it seems to me that the doors block most of the entry when up. Like you would have to squeeze in behind the door before sitting down.

It says bolt-on, but it also says; "No cutting ( most inner fenders need to be rolled)" Rolled means bent out of the way, yes?

Altho the Crossfire's interior door pulls would work great for scissor doors, the doors themselves are VERY heavy and probably too weighty for such an application.

On MTV's "Pimp My Ride" a young girl had her Civic pimped out with scissor front doors. During the process the bolts broke. These are not heavy doors. Plus no way could her Granny get in without help.....they just block too much of the opening. Real Lambo doors swing further up AND straight up and down. These retrofit doors have to be pushed out a couple of inches THEN they swing up. I'd be concerned that the doors wouldn't be easy to shut properly.

Cool idea but I think the X-fire is too nice to experiment on but I'd love to see it.

They're not practical for anything but a show car.

Im with WonderDallas and DFWSBR, and its too ricey for me if the civics are doing it. The Crossfire is fine like it is and only needs subtle things like maybe an Aftermarket CD Player with MP3 and a professional tint job. Of course some are modding more and thats fine but I just don't see the Crossfire with Lambo doors. To each his own I guess.

Vertical doors and the illuminated sill plates match together.. making it more visible. I wonder if they can bring the price down...for a couple of bolts :?:

It's more than just a couple of bolts. It's hinges and hundreds of hours of R&D ... all for a handful of people out of the thousands that own one car.

They said once you open a Lambo door...a beautiful sexy genie will appear

I wish it'll be in hydraulics...like you push it out and it will just automatically lift itself up slowly.

Dallas, I saw that show too. Question I ask myself is:
Do I want my Xfire to look like a pimped Civic?
