2004 X-Fire and it stars initially but going to restart just doesn't want to. Anyone have ideas before I start replacing everything?

 

Just a simple question, if it does not restart how do you ever start it in the first place.
More facts needed, sorry. Give us a blow by blow write up.

 

The car always seems to start first of the day. Then when I go somewhere and get back in to leave and restart the car it just will not start, the I can sit for about 20 minutes to and hour and it will start again. It has stalled once with me but not anymore. All light on the panel light up but the engine just doesn't turn over.
