Default Pulley and chip questions

Hey all. I am looking at a performance chip for my 05. Any suggestions on who to buy from? I want to be able to upgrade and update on my own so the if there is one out there that is easy I'd like to know. Also I am interested in the pulley mod. Since I don't know much about it can someone suggest who to buy them from? I see that we have a few advertisers on the site but!!! Also what does it do for the car? I have an idea but I'd like to know more before I go spending my hard earned money. Might as well take advantage of the vast knowledge base out here before I make a mistake!! Thanks

I see you have a limited which is non supercharged, so a pulley isn't needed. There are a few tuners on here, but no chip per se....I will let the N/A's guys help you out....

There are underdrive pulleys available for the N/A's, I believe TVT used to sell them, they maybe added 8 hp. As for chips, nadda, go for a tune. But word of warning, Beaner had underdrive pulleys and a tune and look what that lead to!

Ok, so, tell me what under drive pulley's do and what is involved with a tune. Why one over the other but not both? I'am looking to get a little more horses and gpm if possable. If not I'm happy to leave it as is. But you know, boys and their toys!!!

Personally, I think the underdrive pulleys do nothing, and as for the tune, it just pushes the parameters to the max so you get everything bit of HP...now, what you didn't mention, which has proven to help, is a CAI...cold air intake...go to www.needswings.com and view what Rob sells...or better yet, talk to him....good luck...but, keep in mind, these cars were discontinued, therefore, there aren't a lot of aftermarket parts for them...
