TPS wire color for nitrous wot switch help!
Hello all, great forum. Can anyone help my find the wire/color for the Throttle position switch. I am installing a Zex wet nitrous system. 55-75 horse power. Do you think 75 will be fine? Sorry mispelled nitrous!
there isnt one, two wires send voltage to the tb and for the nex nmu to work there isnt a broad enough spectrum to read the volatage. i installed a wot switch under my wifes pedal. she doesnt have a tune or pulley so the car is ran with 110oct, one step colder plugs, on a 75 shot the dyno is below. no detonation and no timming was pulled. after pulley and tune we'll up the pills and see what she does

Thank you for your help, but oh no! I cant connect the zex unit and do a sweep? That is what sold me to zex.
So you had to install like a micro switch at the pedal? Do you think 75 will be ok wet shot even though everything is stock?

So anyone know how can I use this ZEX system is there a way to bypass the unit? Is there anywhere I can hook up the unit to the ZEX brain? HELP!!!
we still use the nmu, white wire to wot switch, other side of switch to 12v power. you program the nmu to read the 12v power when throttle is fully depressed.
oh and I need to get 12 plugs right 2 per cylnder. Thats pretty wild. wow this is getting expensive
What do you type of sparkplugs do you recomend?
So you think a 55-75 shot will effect engine life? Got the plugs todday nGK 6988 at 9 bucks a pop. Any other advise before I "blow it up";(
one stage colder plugs and at least 104 octane without a tune. wifes car is still on 75pill but runs 109 in the tank. just remember without running a window switch dont hit the limiter or that will be the end to the fun.
Alright I spent all day Sunday installing the system and it works great!!! I went with the 75 shot and everything runs smoothly. I want to thank those that help me. If anybody wants pics I can post them later. I was able to use the tps wire to trigger the niitrous so I did not have to run a micro switch so the only problem I had was the guy I did it with installed the fuel into the nitrous and the first time I used it flooded the heck out of it.
