Default Looking for a tune...

I'm saying goodbye to my 500 HP 1989 Mustang LX. I'm purchasing a 2006 Crossfire Roadster with an auto trans. Want to improve it's get up and go... I'm looking to do some minor tweaks to it including having it tuned. Any help ??

All he would need to do is send me a cable to hook up to the computer on the car. Got to love modern technology! If anyone else in the New England area would like to be to take advantage of this, let me know. Maybe I could set up a Dyno Day with Jerry from Eurocharged and Pete from Performance Dyno. I'll post the results once we complete the tune.

The guys at Eurocharged are very nice. I have both of my XF's tuned by them with no complaints.

How much did you gain with the tune? Do you have before and after graphs?

This one is for my roadster which was done last summer at the CAA event. This is the HP/torque at the rear wheels. The main gain is with low end torque which helps with takeoffs:

It was about 100 degrees that day so I probably have more HP/torque at lower temps. I don't have results for my coupe as I did the tune remotely and don't have immediate access to a dyno. Plus I live at 6000' ASL, so there will be about 20% or so less HP at this altitude compared to Saint Louis.

Thanks for the dyno sheet. I think I will hold off on a tune until I get a few things done. CAI is 1st on my list. I'm not into loud exhausts so I know I won't be doing that. What else would you suggest?

If you can spring for a dual intake, I would suggest that. Needswings (Performance auto parts & aftermarket auto accessories for your car, specializing SRT4, Crossfire SRT6, SLK32, C32 AMG, VR-4) offers a nice intake. Also, larger fuel injectors may help out as well (although some may say that these are not needed with an auto depending on how you drive). When I am driving more aggressively with my auto, I tend to use the Autostick more and keep the RPMs higher. These larger fuel injectors will help with that.

Maybe a bit late but in my book there is only one company to tune the cars and that is Eurocharged. I have run their tunes since they were LET and they only get better. Not to mention that the service is first rate.
