Default Modifications to XFire [HELP]

Hi folks, just got my new crossfire last week. It is my first sports car ever and I am very pleased with it.

I would like to put a performance air filter in it. Is there one specifically for crossfire? I have read about people using Mercedes one's. If so what do I need to order and how much roughly does it cost?

Any ideas on what route to take with chipping it? There seem to be a lot of different views out there? The Powerchip thread seems interesting https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ght=air+filter Has anyone else had this done? Or any better suggestions?

The only thing I hate about the Xfire is the grille. It just doesn't blend in with the car? What were they thinking. I would love a mesh grille. Has anyone else replaced theirs?

Thanks for any advice!!

K&N filter part number is 33-2185...the crossfire requires two.

no aftermarket grilles available at this time.

RickyHanna... I've done the Upsolute chip and it's working Fantastic! It's also about $200.00 cheaper and in most cases you have a rep in your area to take the car to, to get it done. Or if you decide you don't like it you have 30 days and you can take it back and it will be reversed and you get your money back. There are several threads here talking about the Upsolute chip and it's effects. You can also go to www.upsolute.com and get all the info on the chip to include finding the dealer closest to you. With Powerchip you have to send your ECU to them. They chip it and send it back to you and you install it.

Enjoy.
