Default Radar Detectors: Escort Qi45... anybody???

Well 1st off, my 1st post...Hi Forum!!! ^_^

Will be finalizing recieving my new SRT6...actually from a fellow forum member here later today and recieving this week...VERY EXCITED!!!

1st things to do I was going to see about getting the bun, and was looking at radar detectors...I came across the Qi45...instead of the dash mounted ugly suction cups on the windshield I wanted one that was installed into the car itsself out of plain view...this looks like a good option...$500 for the kit, and another $200 if you want the laser shifter pack as well...looks easy enough to install, was wondering if anyone has this or a similar unit?

Radar/laser detectors provoke religious discussions, like tires. I like my Bel965 for the price and I would not install because I switch it between three cars. I attach it high up on the windshield on the passenger side of the rearview mirror (so it can pick up rear signals) and other than the cord, it is not intrusive. Combined with a Garmin on the lower/center windshield it gives the cars a real "road warrior" look.
