Im looking at upgrading my Heat exchanger when I replace my pump, have a few questions, I see Needswings had a supercooler for $450. I found a few E55 heat exchangers for $100 used, has anybody used both or can commment on both? for 4 times the price would it be worth it? would you have to modify anything for the E55 HE?

Cheap is expensive. Get the good stuff and be done with it. I bought a huge HE for less than half that and it's not very good. My $.02.
I think the stock E55 HE is the same size as the stock SRT6.

 

The E55 HE is bigger than the stock SRT one by a fair amount.. The NW super cooler is the best... max cooling for your IC.... too bad it wasnt out when I bought my LET HE... mine works for what I use it for so I cant justify replacing it..... at least not at this point...

 

I am currently using the E55 H/E and it is doing its job. It took minimal modification to the brackets the hold the H/E in and covers a bit more area than stock, while still being fairly thin. If you are tracking or doing back to back pulls down the track then the bigger the better, course I am still using OEM/Lightning pump. Take it for what its worth. cheers
