Default your hardest and best mod?

Just thinking about all the stuff we seem to do to our cars. Was interested in what was the hardest mod you pulled off and what mod is your favorite?

Both would have to go to the hood I made for my 6............that was later copied(without any credit or approval to me).

You know when that "other" hood design appeared, I thought it looked like something I had seen before. You did a great job on that project, start to finish. It is too bad others can't come up with their own ideas. I bet your photos were used at the drawing board.

Best was definitely the Sprint Booster. It was more of a pain (the washer that didn't want to come out) than anything else. Instantly fixed the delayed throttle response, totally changed the car.

Hardest was the back up camera. This was only because of all the wires needing to be tucked/hidden for a clean install. Plus I couldn't get a good ground and had to keep trying to find one.

Hardest: 181 pulley that was too long. Kept cutting/throwing belts.
Bestest: Stacking the 181 (after fixing it) and the Code 3 pulleys!

Right on! Really glad to hook up, didnt think there was any owners out this way. PM sent.

BTW. My hardest mod was painting my door handles...took 2 weeks of waiting to get it done and I totally fubared the lock mechanism.

My coolest mod would be my euro fog light that is wired into my back up camera

Mopar, I still think that hood would look much better on my Aero..... Everytime I see a Jag I look at the hood..... haven't see one with the vents...

Considering I was not a gearhead before owning the Crossfire, the most difficult thing for me was the first single cold air intake that I installed on the roadster. I was cursing like a sailor that day. The intake on the coupe was much easier as I knew what I was doing a little bit better.

The best mod for me is the Eurocharged tune.

I haven't done anything difficult with the crossfire yet, it's been too reliable of a daily driver to mess with... But when I do it will probably run on megasquirt 3 with a turbo, possibly using SRT engine parts... It will be a build with lots and lots of fabrication. I need to finish my current mustang build requiring lots and lots of fabrication first lol.

Best mod would be designing the super cooler and getting it to be reproducable.

Hardest was the Hood that lets out the heat at the track, and getting it to all WORK. Woody

Harderest was the new intake mod that is in testing, doubling the inlet air and power IF IT WORKS

This was a bit of work too, but all fun....

Sorry it was the second ARMOR division.

There are photos in my gallery. The wing made it to the carlisle event. Lots of planning and color matching to the wheels color. Had to take a wheel into the paint shop so they could measure it and make me a batch, trying to look more TOGETHER.

This year will be something better and more off the wall. Be there or be square.

Cool, I didn't know anybody actually built an NA crossfire's engine yet. I was driving before, and I heard a little detonation.. It went away and the car has been fine since, but I may start looking into what my options are as far as engine replacements sooner than I planned.. I want to build something along the lines of an NA bottom end with the SRT's internals with a turbo. I may just find the cheapest v6 merc engine I can and adapt all of my existing sensors to that engine. I guess the search begins lol.

Hardest mod I have done I think would be the cupholder... Not that it was "hard" to do but it was very time consuming and ran into many problems along the way.

Best would be having Paul and Rudy install the V8. Brings a smile to my face every time it starts up.

All the other mods that I have done and some that were here and gone all have their little quirks but well worth the effort. Its the little things that I personally like that go un noticed which make my car special.
