Default Spoiler up and so is top

My spoiler is stuck in up position. Started once in a while a week ago - but now constant. I could manually bring it down but it would not beep and would go back up once button is released. Top will not go down - after unlatching, the windows go down then it beeps. Have new battery, divider is in proper place, no water or moisture in trunk, did battery disconnect for 10 minutes (twice) did abs/esp reset (twice). Tried the "ignition off, press top up button and ignition on" reset also. Once the trunk panels were off I could hear that it was still trying to lower after it had gone down but it wasnt recognizing that it was already down - I assume there must be a spoiler positon sensor of some sort? It is now up with light flashing and will not do anything. Any ideas? -goes to the dealer tomorrow. Thanks, Ron

I did change tires and wheels last week and the TPMS light came on after 100k - l read that in no way was it connected to the spoiler. Replaced with another set of stock rims with stock tpms. Dealer said it should be ok as long as they are put back in the same position they came off. Don't think that is the issue. Anyone?

An hour and a half later and 200.00 and the stealership says it was a corroded terminal on one of the limit switches on the trunk lid. I already had the panel off and couldn't see any corrosion but at least now the top is down and the spoiler goes down with a happy beep.! Off to a nice drive for dinner.
