Default REDCROSS with K&Nz and SpeedTuning Chip

Well I got everything done except the exhaust and here are some readings that I have so far!!
As we know we have 218HP and 310TQ stock.

This was taken from my Gtech ProComp with weight at 3400lbs. It's not a million dollar piece of equipment but the before and after runs were under the same conditions and with the same settings.

Before K&Nz and Chip--With K&Nz and Chip
60'--2.372s--2.385s
330'--6.369s--6.110s
1/8m--9.660s at 76.07mph--9.113s at 83.85mph
1000'--12.475s--11.654s
60 mph--6.939s--6.094s
1/4m--14.823s at 97.29mph--13.754s at 105.73mph

HP--I wiped out by accident--253.8HP at 4853rpm
TQ--I wiped out by accident--274.6TQ at 4853rpm

Chip manufacturer says HP/TQ should be in the neighborhood 239HP/335TQ!

see my album............

NOW................this is a definate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Miles per gallon STOCK-----318.5miles used 13.132 gallons = 24.2537MPG
Miles per gallon K&N/CHIP -141.8miles used 5.229 gallons = 27.1179MPG

SONOCO 94 at same pump and auto shutoff-no topping.

WAIT til I get my muffler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know it's NOT the correct figures and I feel once I get the calibrations down I can give closer to real life readings. The intent was to show the before/after figures even with the error factor taken into consideration.
The spread between the numbers is correct............just the numbers are inflated, even though the horsepower readings are very close, the time/speed is whats off.
The gas mileage gain is 100% CORRECT!!!!!!!!!!!
I believe our XF weighs 3060lbs and with gas and my carcass I figured @ 3400 being close enough until I get it weighed.
The company that provides the chip programming is out of Austria and is called SpeedTuningUSA............

http://www.speedtuningusa.com/

Anyone that desires the chip will get the same as I paid, even though I am a previous customer (my Turbo Beetle was done over two years ago) which was $313.95 Installed/Including Tax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just mention this site and me (JD).

Mmmm. nearly 1 sec quicker in the 1/4 mile with the chip. Is there a drag strip near you ?

HEY Wes, when are you going to the drag strip... I am waiting to install chip...but interested in seeing 1/4 tape numbers first...

Yes, Maryland International and I want to get to our strip to see what the "REAL" times are.
Maybe our NEXT GTG should be at a drag strip and we can see it happen!!!!!!
