Default Rear Wing extends on startup

Has this happened to anyone? Just this last week, everytime I start the Xfire, the rear wing automatically extends up. I set it back down manually and it works normally after that..extends up around 60 mph and back down at a stop.
Weird!!

Have your battery checked.

You need to replace your battery and the problem will go away.

x3 on the battery. Consider yourself lucky it is giving you the sign the battery needs to be replaced and didn't leave you stranded.

Yes, it is a great warning. this happened to me and I posted about it. When I was told to replace the battery I thought they were crazy. I changed the battery and end of problem.

Tanx for the info guys. Had a feeling my Odyssey was giving out. I think I'll hit up Needswings for a Shuriken.

You guys were right...I put the charger on my bat which showed 60% charge. After full charge, no more greetings from the wing when I startup. I'm still changing out the battery just to be safe. Got the Shuriken from SonicElectronix for $70 free shipped. (SAE terminals on the Odyssey will swap right over)

Some of you are getting to know our cars too well!
Soon as I read the problem I thought "battery"!

What a great site! Imagine the Crossfire owners out there that don't know about us. Wonder how much money is wasted chasing problems that are SO common to us?

Spread the word!

This forum has save so many so much its a sure fire investment to be a member! Spread the word folks, every XF I see I tell the owner about this forum (unfortunately its only been four or five in 2 1/2 years, not counting those I passed on the road). I just don't know what I would do if this forum ever closed (now get that outa your head GG, dang-it, get it out!).
