Personally I have not chipped any Crossfire yet, but as I know, the chassis and engine should be the same as Mercedes. We have done quite a few of Mercedes-Benz. We are basically one of the only Upsolute dealers which have worked on chipping VW, Audi, BMW, Benz, Volvo, Porsche, Hyundai. We are looking to expand into the Crossfire as we see there is a market for it.

Gary, the Crossfire is exactly the same as the 2003 SLK 320. If you've done the SLK you've done the Crossfire.

It would be no problem to us since we have chipped C-coupes, SLK's, CLK's before with no problems.

UpsoluteToronto: When you change your muffler and add 12 horses after chipping...will you lose your chip performance?

I'm not saying we are the only Upsolute dealer who can chip all those makes/models, but we have confidence in it since we have experience with those.

A custom program can be done to remove the speed and rev limiter if requested, but not recommended due to safety reasons.

About the power gains after the exhaust upgrade, it should increase more power rather than lose it. Power gains do not add up by each modification done to the car, so lets say a chip adds 12HP and a catback system adds 8hp. The total power gain is not 20HP when a chip and catback done together. It might be around 15HP at peak, but maybe a smoother power curve or there might be 20HP gains elsewhere on the power curve.

Hope the info helps.

Upsolute Toronto,

Can a custom program remove only the top speed limiter and keep the rev limiter (I keep hitting this and would not want to damage the engine)?

If so, how would someone obtain such a program?

I have talked to Upsolute North America about programs removing top speed lmiiters. Due to liability issues, they would not be offering this type of program to remove the top speed limiter unless there is a written liability waiver done by a lawyer and signed by the customer.
If you are willing to go through all this trouble, we can have a custom program with thetop speed limiter removed.

Upsolute Toronto,

I am hoping to get the Chip on Tuesday, so I won't have time to sort legals out. Will have to stick to 155 limit for the time being.

Many, many thanks for confirming this.

It might be a forum member as I think that's how he found out about us. Hope he chimes in and let us know how it feels.

First off, Howdy!
I'm the guy who just had Upsolute Toronto do his car.
I'm very satisfied with both the service and the product!

I've been lurking in the shadows for a while, but I'll join in to give Gary (Upsolute Toronto) a good recommendation!

He did an excellent job, timely and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to send anyone to him.

Matt
