Standing/Parking Lights
I switched over the high and low beam headlights and foglights to Silverstars, and now I'd like to change the standing/parking lights to the same...for color match so it's consistent over the whole front end...does anyone know the sylvania part number I should use? The owner's manual says those bulbs are W5W, but i can't seem to find a way to cross reference this to a Sylvania number.
You could try these:
Philips Blue Vision Sidelights W5W
At last we have matching colour temperature in the zone of HID (High Intensity Discharge) and H1 H4/H7 lamps, for a whiter and homogeneous light. This is the end of the yellowish position lamp/city lights.
High colour temperature of light (3300 K)
Xenon gas filling
Coated with a high temperature resistant varnish
Cooler and bluer light
Colour perfect fitting with H1 H4/H7 and HID lamps
Extended lifetime ,twice as long as regular sidelights
These bulbs are sold in packs of 2 bulbs

I put my parking lights in without taking out the headlight it driver side wasnt too bad but the passinger side was a *****. Took a little while, used a long needle nose pliers and then twisted it out the put it back in and twistd it in. I used the 5 led lights and they look good.
i did pull the headlamp assembly. made it easier to get at the bulbs, but the mounting bolts for the assembly that are waaay underneath were kind of a pain...so it may be a horse apiece doing it either way. my guess would be a little easier to take out the whole assembly.
I couldn't either. I was going to order from Powerbulbs.com (I read that people were having no problems ordering from them, though the are in the UK), but i got lucky and found a set on Ebay.

It's not as cheap as powerbulbs (i.e. not free) but it's in the U.S.
Also, the only place I found online that carried the sylvania turn signals (7057st) was the store on the Sylvania site. I'm know there are others but I didn't take note of them because they don't ship to Hawaii.
Believe it or not I have a pastie on my computer as a reminder for the Phillips W5W that I have never found................................
And now, through you, I have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks.
