Default Clear Bra?

I went to a few clear bra installers, and they said that the clear bra would overlap the grooves on the hood. This means that the clear bra will be "floating" over the grooves, making it look very ugly. The installers said that they have to cut the bra on the car to shape it, thus risking cutting my paint. Anyone with a solution, or recommend a shop in Denver?

Is there a part number for the 3M kit or should the installers have this info?

http://www.xpel.com/

P0818C
Hood, Fender and Mirror kit

Or

P0818D
Hood, Fender and Mirror kit

And

P0818B
Grille and Bumper kit

And probably the headlight and door protector too...

Man, this stuff cost a fortune...

yeh, I had the P0818C and the bumper, (fender) kit installed, cheaper than painting the car in 6 months!

UK cost was about 450

Look for a different installer. The installer I had formed the 3M film into the grooves so there was no "floating". You can not see the fiilm. The kits that drunkiq shows in his response are for the DIY, does not go into the grooves. Look at the xpel site and try to find anyother installer. Sorry but I don't think my installer will travel from NJ to Denver. If he will, it will cost you big time. good luck!
