Default to do or not to do?

Guys,

Now that my car is almost 100% with all my toys etc, one thing is missing, decent bass as the Avic X1 unit is performing superb.

I was thinking of getting this baby for the boot space.

Looks good. It's got a decent frequency response and enough power output to fill in the low end. You won't be winning any sound competitions with it, but I think it will really help to bring together the rest of the audio system.

Default IMO

Pioneer makes some great product, but there subwoofer set ups are not the greatest. Since I always say buy once and buy the best I would suggest getting something custom built.

I spoke to my Pioneer Rep today, since I am not in the UK my model numbers in the USA are different. But I think that the unit you want to use contains a 8 inch driver. It will be better IMO to use a 10 inch driver, if my guess on the 8 is correct. But it depends on the money you are willing to spend for sound and looks.

For what its worth I do not like the subwoofers playing any higher then 80Hz.

Regards, and good luck on your choice.
