Default wheel spacer bolt size - help

Hi Guys,

Well just ordered a set of 10mm wheel spacers for the car, but Eibach do not supply the new bolts for the wheels...Ahhh.. I know H&R do, but they are 3 times the price of Eibach.

Can I use the exisiting bolts? or do I need to replace them, if so, what length?

Cheers.

By default, if you put in 10mm spacers, you would need to have 10mm longer bolts.

yep...you will need new lugs...i went 12mm rear and 10mm front for the best balanced look...the lugs were about 1" longer.

call tc kline racing for h&r lugs...614.771.7744 ask for pete...tell him andrew sent you for a better discount.

If you are using the OEM wheels, make sure the new bolts are BALL taper...the taper is rounded. Another type is tone shape (the taper is straight). very hard to notice the differences...but be careful. The cone shape taper will not have enought surface area mating to the lug holes... It looks like the one pictured is BALL taper. (I changed this for ANDREW)

You local tire shop that specializes in custom wheels (meaning they know what they are doing) can get you the correct length and taper bolts...

the lugs pictured are the correct ones needed...same as oem lugs. hard to tell from picture.
