On the SRT I find the SC is quite obvious with the SCAI.

Well the company is honest on their site stating there is a whistling noise from the intake when you get on it. I'm not sure i want to listen to that. It looks like a well made product.

I am not so sure of a whistling sound, but you will definitely notice the Supercharger whine when you walk on it. Which I think is a good thing.

Just my opinion.

That's what i was concerned about. I think i'll just stick with a tune and leave the rest stock. I won't be racing. Thanks for the input.

K&N now there's a can of worms and a food fight. I've never used one but i sure have seen a lot of heated discussions pro and con about them. Loved by many blamed by just as many for not filtering fine particles.

If you're driving a N/A and noise is a concern, then consider switching to a C240/320 intake. It provides 50% more breathing volume and uses larger filters without any added noise, plus it's plug and play and looks really cool to boot. Instead of the K&Ns, I went with the AFE Pro-Dry S air filters which don't require oiling, yet flow as good as the K&Ns and are also lifetime warranted. I picked mine up used from LKQ for under $100 w/ the front nose piece (the nose piece with the star logo is separate from the intake).

Sorry for the dirty engine bay...can't pry the car away from the wifey long enough to clean her!
By the way, I've had this setup for a few years now (50,000 miles +) and recently pulled it off to check the throttle body and it was still pristine, so the filters work great!

I use an 8" AEM dry filter on my single NW CAI, very pleased with the performance.

Here's one on Ebay right now. He says it has a broken tab on the front cover but you can simply glue the front nose piece to the cover. It's basically just for looks and the single tab may hold it fine. Great price & Free shipping too!

On an N/A, it is not very noisy from my experiences (I had two N/A's with single NW CAIs). You will hear a slight whistle sound when you step on the gas and the throttle body opens a bit.

I wouldn't say there's a whistle.. definitely sounds beastlier though.. I sometimes bring it to readline just to hear it scream!

N/A with dual Needswings CAI and 74mm TB

The Ebay engine cover you listed shows a part number of A 112 094 0004. Do you know if this will fit the crossfire?

I read in another post that P/N 1120901501 doesnt work due to height problems.

All three look identical in pictures though.
