Default Is there a way to stiffen up the steering?

It's the only thing I'm not too happy with on my Crossfire Coupe. The steering seems too loose. Not that there is much play, in fact, there's none, but it's just a bit light. Hope you get what I mean. While it's very precise, I prefer a little more effort on my part. Is there a way to improve it to my liking?

Thanks in advance.

it's an old design...circulating ball steering rack...lots of loose play before any real input. many magazine articles state the same...old school rack. no improvements or adjustments available.
