top will not close

Default top will not close

hi guys, my top will not close all the way. i have a draw so i removed the ground cable to do a
draw check. it was the dio-soket when i pulled the fuse the draw stopped. now my top gose down good but will only go up to 6" from closed. help. rich.

What is a dio-socket?

If your top is really not going up all the way, it's either low fluid, bad pump or bad limit switch on one of the cylinders.

Can you either make and post a quick video or take a picture of it in the farthest-up position and post it here?

What do you mean you had the top "redone".

You first posted that tracking down the 'drain' caused this, now you have changed the story to "I had the top redone".

If someone replaced the top and messed it up, take it back to them!

Here is a thought: Can you put it up manually?

THAT will tell you if it is improperly installed or if it is electrical/hydraulic in nature.
