Crossfire sporadically dies and all lights come on
Hi folks, hopefully someone out there can help me with this problem.
I have a 2004 Crossfire that has recently developed a problem. The car will sporadically just stop whilst driving and all the dashboard lights illuminate. The car will then not work or respond at all for a short period and eventually start again.
It has been into the garage on 2 occasions and no errors were recorded and no faults can be found. I have contacted several Chrysler dealerships who have never heard of this happening.
In all honesty it makes me really anxious about driving the car. Fortunately I was in second gear both times this happened but I am so nervous that the next time could be at speed.
If you have any help or advise I would REALLY appreciate it. I genuinely love the car and am loathe to get rid - I just want to feel safe driving it again!!
Many thanks in advance!

'14 Grand Cherokees went though something very similar (see "Christmas Tree" on Grand Cherokee - WK2 - - Jeep Garage - Jeep Forum ) and it turned out to be a bad ground. That is my first thought when I hear of multiplr failures. First place to look is the ground wires coming from the battery and how they connect to the chassis.
ps when it is a grounding issue the trouble codes can be misleading.
