Exclamation Question about power windows

Hi Guys,
I'm from Germany and that my XF two days now . The car is build 06/2003. My question is how working our power window switches? If I press the upper part of the switch where the window sign is located then my window goes down. On the upper part of the window switch without the window sign the window goes up. My dealer ship tells me that it is the US version. Please let me know if anybody has the same reactions on the XF as I. Thanks
Steffen form Germany

Cool Re: Question about power windows

On my 2005 XFire Roadster Limited, when you push the lower section of the window button it goes down, when you push the upper section of the button it goes up. Push and hold the lower section of the button for a second and it goes all the way down.

Default Re: Question about power windows

Some of the early build cars had the power window switches reversed. Since your car was built 6/03, that is probably the problem. Do a search and you can probably find a thread on how to fix it yourself, or take it back to the dealer and make them do it.
