Default Hotshot Header *All Forum Members Send Email*

Just got off the phone with Hotshot Performance in regards to the potential header for the Xfire. They are gauging interest for the header right now.

If we get 24 people to write and express interest they will produce it. He also asked me to get a volunteer to have the car fitted for the header (i'd do it but I am in PA not in Cali).

He said expect about 10 HP and cost is only $399 - $499.

Lets get an e-mail train going and get this thing produced!

Send emails to sales@hsperformance.com

Thanks.

Doug

They only charge 999 for their turbo units. Quite frankly, I'd be much more interested in a $999 turbo unit that gives me an extra 80 horses

I would definitely sign up for a header/turbo package for $1500 (which is greater than the price of the turbo and header unit sold seperately, to allow for production and manufacturing costs). Can we get some interest going in that direction?

I just looked at there site that $999 is only for an intercooler the turbo kit is $4400.

Feel free to express interest for turbo as well, but make sure you list race header and turbo.

Thanks.

I'm interested. As I have already done some research on custom headers. I am in CALI and could let them use the car for prototyping since I will be going out of town to shoot a movie for two months.

I'm going out of town to shoot a movie for 2 months if they want to use my car for measurement etc. it will be parked at BergWerks getting a new 3.69:1 differential, custom sway bar kit and new powder coated wheels.

They can either tow the car from Van Nuys CA to Irvine CA where they are located, or come pull the engine and do the work at BergWerks. The only stipulation is wholesale cost and free installation.

Cool: because the headers on our car are rediculous they reduce to 1.5" at the bend. I'm sure we could snake-out a few more hp with a decent set of ported polished headers.

get your butt over there... LOL

HI
Maybe you should stop by, and I can take a look at the car, and explain what we need to do, then we can go from there. Normally I need to have the car here in the shop for a week to build the prototype, then we dyno test the car and decide if we will make changes or use the prototype as the sample for production.

Let me know when you’d like to come by.

Thanks

John

x'ed:

Can you get buy the front wheel speed sensor issue with dyno test? I remember that no-one has been able to do a dyno as yet because of this issue. Have you seen anyone who got by that yet?
It would be great to see a before and after headers hp reading!
With a modest hp gain, I would think that our warrenties may still be in effect also. Your thoughts?
