Default Needwings Map Sensor

I was wondering why my intake temps are so high 70 outside intake temp 149,well I odered a new svt mustang pump I alraedy got a Johnson pump. The map sensor I got from needwings has a single probe instead of a hotwire like the one I had an the one pictured on there website.I have a hotwire type sensor on order from eBay so I really have a feeling it's the sensor an not my Johnson pump,I have never had temps that high maybe 20-25 degrees over ambiet when its hot weather now may 8-10 degrees. If its the sensor I will relay the info to needwings.
