I received my upgraded bosch pump from amazon two days early woohoo!! Easy as pie swap, when I was done however I did wanna know what the inside of my old pump looked like^_^
The green slime doesn't look good. Others may correct me here, but I don't think that's normal. I had that exact slime on a set of used NW's intake manifolds that I purchased from another SRT6 owner. Turns out he had an intercooler leak; a known problem with our aging OEM intercoolers. I'm hoping the coolant color you have on your opened up pump is normal. But if it's oily, it may be an issue; hoping I'm wrong.
It used to have mb orange but I added some green I will flush and replace with MB certified. I don't have any signs of antifreeze in my y pipes or intake does that matter? What is the green slime?
I did a lil research on mb forum and it seems that that's just a side effect of a dead pump.. a few users over there experienced slime when changing to a cm30 so I'm not super worried but will drop intercooler and pressure test if I feel worried

Glad to hear that! Probably just coolant mixing up with a little ground up pump inards and lube.
Almost had me sweating as I've been putting forward a ton of effort into giving this car the love it deserves which isn't easy on a moving budget! Will switch to mb certified coolant asap though
Mixing coolants together can also create a gel like symptoms, which maybe is what you're seeing. I only suggest this becuase of the comment regarding mixing MB orange with MB green (325.0).
Well it wasn't mixed until today. I lost a little during the swap and had a some green laying around. I will have it flushed and replaced this week when I change the oil! Idk what this build up is other than the fact that this pump has been out for a month I believe bit was probaby dirty long before! Car feels insanely different with a new pump♡
