Chrysler Auto Diagnostic Tool (WITECH VCI POD)
Hi,
does anyone know this one:
Chrysler Auto Diagnostic Tool Witech VCI Pod for Chrysler Jeep Dodge DRB III | eBay
Would it be possible to use it with a Crossfire without any special multiplexer?

I Know - it's a WITECH clone from China.
I would be interested if it's possible to communicate with my Crossfire.
Anyone bought this or has any experiences to share?

All Crossfires 2004 to 2006 require DRB III with Crossfire multiplexer.
NAFTA Crossfires 2007 to 2008 Witech software and VCI pod, or Starscan with Crossfire cable, or older Witech software with Starmobile as a pass through device.
International Crossfires all years 2004 to 2008 use DRB III with Crossfire multiplexer.
Witech VCI Pods do not use multiplexers.
The Chinese clones use older Witech version software. If they are connected to the internet they will try and phone home so to say and without a real active subscription will lock the pod.
BTW, The DRB III will work with newer 2007 to 2008 Crossfires for many functions, but will not have access to all of the electronic modules.

Thank you for the detailed explanation!
So I'd need a DRB-III with multiplexer.
The iCarsoft MB II would be an alternative to read and erase trouble codes.
