Need Advice - 2 Crossfires Down -- Will not Start
I have a 2004 coupe with 42K on it, and recently I was experiencing the key not turning. Therefor I left the key in the ignition and the car started up for about a week. After I parked it overnight, came out the next day all electrical lights work but when I turned the key no click / no starter engaged. I dropped it off at the dealers and he is stumbled said SKREEM is working, checking RCM and the starter motor -- could the stick ignition cause the car to not turn over when the wheel is locking up? Also have a 2007 and the same week, came out the next day and no start (starter will not engage/no clicks when I turn key plus key fobs do not lock the doors. Car is sitting on the driveway, surprised that the same no click sound on both cars. however no problem with a sticky key. I live in Boston MA and it is extremely difficult to find anyone to work on the crossfires. Thank you for any ideas or what to try next.
Have you resoldered the three bad joints in the RCM?

Here's a step-by-step description of nearly every possible solution to a no crank, for when you know your battery and starter aren't the issue. So, you can diagnose yourself.
Thanks everyone, appreciate your help. The mechanic checked out the 2007 crossfire and the RCM seemed good, turned out after he disconnected the negative cable - car reset itself and started. He said that it had no communications at all until he took off the negative cable.
I don't think you should leave the key in the ignition, can cause battery drain if left long enough.
