Default Top Issues

I had our 2005 detailed and having some issues and looking for help.

When I picked the car up, I was going to drop the top. When I released the top, the windows dropped and as I recall when I tired the switch I heard "the beep". Jumped out and the had the divider in the down position so I thought I would just deal with it at home.

I taped the trunk switch open several years ago.

However, when I got home, I released the top and the windows did not drop...so I put them down. However, even if I bypass the switch in the trunk, I can'g get top to operate. The red light on the switch in the center does not light, nor does it beep.

Suggestions?
