Here's a video of someone who swapped the 6 speed from the crossfire into a CLK430. He said that the hardest part was to have the electronics sorted out. He found out that the way to make it work is to make the computer believe that it's always in park or neutral. For all the non believers about a manual SRT6. or manual v8 crossfire.

From what I've read before seeing this video. The crankshaft of the manual car needs to be swapped into the srt6 motor. We need the clutch, pressure plate and flywheel of a C230.

All the pieces of the puzzle are coming together.

Does anyone know if the the Supercharger's clutch engages in neutral or park on the srt6?

It can....but....it requires you to do the "supercharger engaged all the time " mod.

 

So could this mean that we could just drop the motor in with that mod and keep the n/a ecu?

 

NO! This endeavor isn't , nowhere, as simple as you are trying ,to think it is. Google this ,"thoughts on a manual transmission, with a supercharger ".

 

... it varies from car to car though. That's a bit random.
