Chrsyler dealer admitting they can't help may be a blessing in disguise. Throwing parts at it (your expense) ,til it works. Has it started running straight again? Idling an starting? Was a one time rough start? Does it start then shake violent?

This actually started about 4 months ago. Need to get light off, so I can maximize a sale price or trade in value. Lost my job of 25 years to a sale and don’t have enough liquid assets to be comfortable.

Sorry, Have you checked wire condition on plugs and have you pulled and read the plugs for conditions? Woody

1st I would do is check all the plugs. If misfiring they will look different, alot can be told of a engine by looking at the plugs.
Then switch coil pack and wires from 1 2 and 3 with the misfiring 4 5 and 6.
Either pin point or rule out before throwing parts at it.
Run some good injector cleaner.
Do you have a laser temp gun?
After warmed up checking Temps from each cylinder and comparing, can tell if acouple cylinders are running lean / rich.
Mechanics stethoscope is good to listen to injectors and valvetrain while leaving covers on.
But if it runs good and never noticed a hesitation a sensor.

" Where should I start throwing my money? " well, if you have an Android Phone or Tablet then Amazon for a $12 mini Bluetooth OBD-II dongle and Google Play Store for Torque Pro ($5). Then run your own diagnosis.

Alright, I'll give! Please post a link to the dongle ( I laugh when I say it, I know how juvenile) that you guys think is best. I'll put this $1000 worth of diagnostic crap up. Your way is more, immediately convenient an I won't have to ride around with a laptop...lol

🤔 In an envelope addressed to me would be a good ! we can start with tens and twenties and work our way up 🤗
I thought I would cheer you up with a little laughter it's good for the soul , sorry to hear about your job loss but you seem like a resourceful fellow and I'm sure you'll bounce back. I like old school diagnostic work myself, it gives you a deeper sense of satisfaction when you figure out what the problem is and then come up with a solution to fix it.
