Is this the correct water pump for the srt6?
The top picture is the srt6 pump from needswings.
The others are what AutoZone.com says fits. Is that extra webbing In picture one necessary?
Also the pump failed and appears the front seal went out at the same time. Would that be a normal occurrence?
Thanks
One fits the NA and another fits the SRT. The SRT one has three outlets and the NA one has two outlets.
The SRT one costs more, nearly twice as much. The SRT one comes from the SLK32 AMG.
The Mercedes part numbers are around here somewhere.
This one has three ports, only difference I see is it doesn't have all the extra webbing. Is that part necessary?
Some or all, not sure which have the appearance of three ports but the oil cooling port is not a through hole.
Cutting costs is not worth the risk, part quality generally falls with the price. Get a part from a quality maker not some cheap Chinese copy that you will be replacing too soon.
SRT/SLK32 parts are harder to find, check the SLK32 ones on eBay.
One part you show is the SRT part and the other is presumably for the NA, two different parts altogether.

Skipped out on the AutoZone pump and found one from mercedes for $160
At that price it sounds like an NA part which is no good to you. NA and SRT pumps are different animals.
If true a new SRT pump from Mercedes at that price is a steel, tell us where from and I will buy one.

Number is correct but picture looks wrong. They often use similar pictures, sometimes in error and sometimes when they do not have the context one.
The part with all the webbing looks correct, unless later ones do not have it.
Compare the picture to your car.

I messaged the seller and confirmed it's for the supercharged engine
So I guess we'll see 🤷🏻*♂️
Also I found the link to that part under this forum from someone who ordered it before for the srt

As I said the number has been on here for years, as you have found out SEARCH is your best friend on the site.😀

WHEN you have the pump, try to see if there is a MB number on it. IF not, compare yours to it. If you think they look the same MAKE sure you do not mix up the bolts holding the old vs the new. You do that by using a cardboard 'plate' and punching the bolts into that plate as you remove them. After you remove the old pump the final check is compare the old vs the new and then put the bolts into the new pump with the CORRECT torque for each bolt (if I remember they are different). I do not know the individual torque spec's, get that 'spec' and be ready to tighten as required. Without both the correct holes to mount the new pump AND the correct torque, you'll seriously regret not doing your homework!
