Weird rear noises

Default Weird rear noises

Hi everyone,
just bought a 2005 Crossfire Coupe.
l have a rattling noise coming from the rear around underneath the trunk.
l know the rear suspension have been changed.
it’s like the mechanic forget a tool on it!!
Any suggestion??

Have someone raise it on a rack and look around.

There has been some concerns about the rear stabilizer bar mounts cracking, check that. You don't need to have it on a rack just take the jack one side at a time, remove the wheel, and check the top rear brackets for cracked welds. Doesn't matter which side you do first unless you think it is making the noise on one side or the other. Do the side you think it might be first. If you find the weld cracked, don't stop there, do the other side and make sure it is OK. Good luck!

Put some black tape on the stricker (latch of the trunk) wrap it 3 to 5 times,,,,

That reminds me of the 2 stops on my hatch, I cut 2 pieces of adhesive door foam strips and put under both of the stops on mine, and noise gone.
