if my knee rest against the panel when driving the creaking worsens. passenger panel is fine. is it just my crossfire?

 

ya, i have that, although mine comes and goes. if i rest my knee against the silver handle there, as i tend to do in this car, the door tends to creak. also when i have my arm on the arm rest and lean too much into the door. it's annoying and i may ask to have it looked at when i take it in for the first time.

 

I think it has something to do with the seat--- if your seat is all the way back you'll get some noise, move it just a little away from the panel and it'll be fine... mine did the same thing, then i moved the seat position a little and it's squeak free.

 

~ update for others in need...

the dealer would replace the panels under warranty to eliminate the creaks but the kept coming back every 12k or so.

but if one is out of warranty (most are) - i removed the panel and add some padded foam tape to the plastic contact points to aid with the noise.
