convertible
So, I have two concerns. First my switch for my convertible top fell through the console. This has happened before and I "jury rigged" it, again. I need to get a replacement console in dark gray if anyone has one to sell.
My second concern, my convertible top stuttered to go down and stopped 1/2 way down. I saw the video on how to manually lower the top, I did do that. Now when I press the button (after I removed the console, the windows go down, but that is all that happens. I checked sensor number 5 and it is good. I am not sure where to go from here. The sensors in the back of the trunk are fine, So, I am thinking it is something to do with the convertible top sensor, or the arms that lift the top.
I appreciate any thoughts anyone may have.

I would lube all of the hinges/pivot points on the frame, it will reduce the stress on the pneumatic system . Just a thought but the harder you push a button will not make any difference. It will not go faster if something is broke pushing the button hard will not fix it. this applies to all of our controls it is a natural reaction. No offense intended
A lot of current info regarding our convertible tops has recently been posted by Pizzaguy

I have glued mine back on place with hotglue works fine.
I glued the whole switch from the underside of the cover in the cover. But use hotglue, so you have a change to get it out if you want.
