Intermittent blowe

Default Intermittent blowe

2005 roadster 50000 km.
start car and blower works. After about 10 seconds shuts off. Comes back on intermittentenly for a while (not long).
Help please!

That is usually the blower resistor/regulator for the motor. Sometimes it is the hvac control module. Get a name brand resistor/regulator preferably, they are better quality.

Yes most of the time it is the blower motor resistor/regulator. Rarely it is the HVAC climate control module. There are ways to test it with the service manual.

Thanks , got the part from fcp and it was a fairly easy install even for an old fart like me with zero mechanical know-how. All working good now.
