Hello all,

Recently noticed a knocking sound behind / under the car, that you occasionally hear only while accelerating from stand still (for example when pulling out of a junction). Don't notice it, driving generally or at higher speeds.

The car was put up on a Ramp at a mechanics this morning. He's not touched a Crossfire before, but says he believes there could be play in the prop shaft centre bearing - does this sound like the problem?
Plus, can this deteriorate and get worse or fail completely??

If anyone can confirm the replacement Parts / numbers also, I need for this. Would be very much appreciated!

 

Check the driveline middle bearing.
