Default Tonneau with lock removed is stuck

I removed all seven hydraulic cylinders from my Crossfire and sent them to Top Hydraulics for reconditioning. I manually lowered the top and drove the car a few times waiting for the cylinders to be returned. Now the tonneau is stuck in the closed position an won't open to allow me to replace the rebuilt cylinders.
Hoping to get guidance on why this tonneau with the lock removed is stuck and how to get it to open.

There is a video in the forum on how to put the top up/down manually. The first part will show you how to open the tonneau manually from inside the trunk. This thread is a "sticky". Can you open your trunk? If not, there is a thread on this. You go through the light above the license plate. It happened to me several times and this is what I had to do.
