Default Service Manual

I've placed yet another copy of the service manual on my site here. If you already have the one posted around a year ago, don't bother downloading this one.

You're all welcome. However, most of the credit goes to the individuals who posted this in the first place. But thank you.

service manual/ my current holy grail/ is still including me... i checked my internet setting, and have noticed that i still recv other docs via pdf.... and every way i attempt to retrieve it... even in tangible form... it always comes up short... disappointments. so tomorrow i will call up DCHQ... and gracefully let out my frustrations... at the time of the sale i was not given an owners manual, promised that i would recv 1 w/in 4 wks... we drove it home on the 1st night...from the dealer... with a slow leak on a rear tire & when ever i made rite turns, pegged the gas pedal and or slapped the brakes harder than normal, A THUNDEROUS CLAP OCCURRED.

IN THE BACK NEAR TO THE PASS SIDE REAR TAIL LIGHT BUT BENEATH THE BOTTOM.

OF THE TRUNK... a BIG metallic clunking and thumping... like hitting a hammer STRIKING on a bath tub with its head and then handle!!!

THE OFFICIAL CAUSE OF THE STRANGE REAR THUMPS WAS A LOOSE REAR LINKAGE W/I THE SUSPENSION. I OBSERVER A SINGLE 15mm SOCKET FIXED THE PROBLEM WITH 6 OR 7 TWISTS OF THE RATCHET.

my dealer has been noble in assisting me with the car problems. BUT I CANT UNDERSTAND WHY D/C CANT COME UP WITH ENOUGH COPIES TO MAKE US who are waiting content.

did all get the LUGGAGE SET GIFT FROM CHRYSLER DESIGNED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE xfire???

ANYWAY... PRAISES TO CROSSFIREFORUM.COM FOR ALL THEIR TIME...

ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT... AND I WILL RELAY THIS TO DCHQ DURING OUR CONVERSATION TOMORROW...

Sorry you can't view the Service Manual. It is not the operator manual, it's the 3,000 page repair manual. Perhaps you aren't letting it DL completely. Or try to update your Adobe Acrobat to a newer version.

I would try to e-mail it to you, but the file is too large... try and update your Adobe .pdf viewer... the file is large. 80.4 mb... so just let it DL till it's complete otherwise it won't open. Many other members have it and haven't had a problem opening it...

I think Mopar sells it for $300 + You can access their website and buy it...

My pleasure sir: Glad you finally got it...

I'm a little up to my eyeballs in making my killer Super Bowl Salsa... The trick is wearing rubber gloves when you cut the peppers... LOL

Hi Xfire 1,

You probably already know this, but the oil capacity in the service manual is wrong. It's actually a little over 8 qts.

PW... no i didn't know... i just check the dipstick every fuel stop making sure its safe... haven't changed oil yet but will soon... i already have 6,000 miles on and we have had the car for 3 months...
whoever changes the oil i will advise on the capacity...

is it true that the dealer gives free oil changes for the XFIRE for the 1st year???

does anyone out there change the synth oil more often than 6,000 miles?

thanks again

HDDP

this must be some heck of a salsa dip to start preparing in advance. BRAVO!!!!

i haven't seen a live Super BOWL (on TV) since '94!!!! wow... it always seems i am traveling domestically or outside the states when the Super Bowl comes around... so i would catch a taped or delayed version of it in some country. But this sunday... i will be with friends/ family and the XFIRE parked in the driveway watching it live.

Some dealers do, but it's not a standard thing for all dealers. Most charge around $100 for an oil change, so you'll be lucky if you can even get one free if you didn't negotiate for it at the beginning.
