Default Example of Mislabeled Parts

Here are a couple of examples of mislabeled parts between the MB & DC #'s... This is the box that is supposed to be the "Brake Anchor" for the SRT6.

Notice the MB part sticker on the left. It has #A0034200515... I called MB parts and they said this is the part # for the SLK320, not the SLK32

Notice the part # on the right, this is the Chrysler part #05143221AA, Chrysler says this is the part for the SRT6.

WRONG AGAIN... It's the part for the limited...

UH OH>>> PHOTO ATTACHMENTS NOT WORKING AGAIN... ?

here's the link to my gallery.... these are supposed to be the same front wheel bearings... Left and right...

Here is a photo of the MB part sticker which is a SLK320 brake anchor and on the right side of the box is the Chrysler part # which they have listed as the SRT6 brake anchor, but actually is for the limited...

All I can say is that the MB parts deparment have the correct #'s for the SLK320 and SLK32 and Chrysler does not have the correct #'s for the Limited & SRT6. Unfortunately, Chrysler does not have anyway to cross reference with the MB part #'s because they decided to use different #'s....

The F'd-up part of this is that it has taken me more than two months and still can't get the correct parts from DC, nor are they even sure of the correct part #... I could buy the parts from MB, but they want $238 for the part that Chrysler lists as $143...

This freakin' car is starting to **** me off... Is there no pride in your product ?

Default Re: Example of Mislabeled Parts

I give up... After a dozen attempts to order the front caliper adapters from DC for the SRT6 and after getting the wrong parts repeatedly, I have finally ordered them from Mercedes and should have them in a week.

Here are some photos to amuse you... Not only does DC have the wrong part #'s listed, but these are both now listed as the front caliper adapter for the Limited... This is supposed to be the same part ?... Neither are for the SRT6 that I ordered, but the one on the right is actually for the limited and the one on the left is for God knows what... HMMM !!!

I know what the limited caliper adapters look like, I've had them off my car at least 3 times...

Oh well, I'm going to hold on to these parts until the SLK32 caliper adapters arrive and will take photos of all three together... hopefully preventing this from happening to someone else that wants to upgrade their brakes to the SRT6 spec.
