Wish I could find one of these for a 2005. I'm sure there must be some slight differences.

I have both and there are differences...though very minor and not enough to make it worth purchasing the 2005 manual.

 

I wonder what the difference is between '04 and '05?

I have seen a purple 3 volume set for the SRT6, but that just covers all the upgrades from the Base, like the S/C, bigger brakes, suspension, probably some electrical stuff and convertible models too?

 

There are differences in the vehicles like the deletion of auto dimming mirrors and other small items.
Any time they release a new model year, they must release manuals for that vehicle.

 

changes from '04 to '05 models...

"only" speaking of the standard crossfire '04 and/or so called '05 limited.

'05 changes:

~ removal of self-dimming mirror.
~ "crossfire" badging raised "an inch" on the deck lid. (to accommodate the srt badge if needed).
~ muffler tips a matte/stainless steel finish (i believe...but may only apply to the base car).
~ exterior color choices expanded.


others may add to the list ... if i overlooked anything.

 

Also added the roadster specific stuff.

 

I have tried to download on a couple of different computers for a month now and get the same errors. PDF file corrupted. Does anyone have any ideas what setting on my internet or Adobe is incorrect? I have read only Adobe 7.0 loaded.

DynamicS, I'm writing you because you seem to be pretty up on things.
I live in Mexico. I purchased a 2004 a month ago. The is great, the user manual is in spanish. I don't read spanish. Do you know how I can get one in english. For example I don't know what the w/s switch is for. I've been reading alot of the treads the last 2 weeks. Reading your and other guys threads are a great help. Love the car, but it's a little lonely, because I have the only crossfire in the city, probably the state. I would appreciate any help you can give.

oledog You can either do a search for "Service Manual" or access the manual here.

 

You can order the owner's manual online from Chrysler, but I don't know if they will ship outside the US.

I just saw some on e-bay.

 

The W/S switch on the Auto Shift panel is to switch the transmission for winter and summer driving conditions.

 

I just tried downloading the manual and it says its corrupt when I try to open.
