Same thing here,... I have MA tag NORTH on my XFire and it's a two plate issue. If you're issued two plates in Mass, you must display two plates. My XFire did not have a front plate bracket on it when I bought my car so I asked the dealer to put one on so I would be legit for state inspection. In Mass you must display the same number of plates as issued in order to pass inspection. If you don't bring your car in to be inspected when it's due, it shows "fail to submit for inspection" if someone checks on your plate.

I did tell the dealer to make sure the bracket was perfectly centered and level. They did it right and it looks just fine. I don't know if the bracket is made for a Crossfire or if it is just a universal bracket. All I know is it serves the purpose.
