I made a post and mis-spelled a word, just going to edit on the thread will not let me change it. So what's the seceret on editing a title?

 

I think you can fix it by clicking on edit then "go advanced " and edit the title part of it. I'm not sure though I've never tried.

 

I just tried that and it didn't work either. Thanks for the suggestion.

 

Try this , click on your avatar it will take you to your profile then click on find all threads started by you find the one you want to fix then click edit then click go advanced then you can edit the title make sure you click save changes or it won't work. It works I tried it on one of my threads and it works.

 

That didn't work for me either, on the main page it's still mis-spelled, but when you open the post it is correct.

 

It might change after it's off the new post section. Why worry about it everyone here makes spelling mistakes once in awhile. No buddy is perfect, just our XFires are.

 

Check again Steve. I just tried going to advanced edit in on one of my threads and I could change it.

 

I tried again, when I opened it to edit, the title is correct. Went advance and saved again and the title on the board is still the same as I originally posted it. When you open the thread it is correct .

Thank You - Thank You, kind sir. I feel so much better, I hate seeing a mis-spelled title, I'm just funny that way . I had another title with a mis-spelled word in it "Turning of fuse's 17 & 18 w/remote ", it was suppost to be Turning off fuse's 17 & 18 w/remote and it drove me nut's having to see it till it got on the second or third page where I didn't have to see it any more .

 

I'd fix that one for you too, but I'm not the mod over that area.
