When I turned my car off the fan inside the car kept running. Everyone said it was normal to cool the engine, but it did not turn off and it ran down the battery. The battery was dead and the keyless didn't work so I used my key, and believe it or not that wacky fan was still running. I had to remove the fuse (#36) for climate control to make it stop. Now of course there is no fan or AC unless I put the fuse back in everytime I drive and remove it when I turn the car off. What a pain! Anyone have an easy inexpensive solution? I am the second owner so no warranty. 2004 Crossfire , 40,000 mile approx.

 

Sounds to me like a relay is stuck closed. There is an Online Service Manual somewhere on this site that you can download that may help.

Fix ::Someone e-mailed me with the same problem so I am posting this update. I had the fan switch replaced ($30 part) and it works great. They said the original switch does burn out quite often but usually after they replace it , it doesn't do it again. I had it done about 1 year ago, and so far so good. What a relief .

 

I had the same problem....I dont know if its the same thing but it was the blower motor regulator. I dont know if it would help but thats what happened to me.
