Ya it has to be closed on all cars to reset it for the most part. I just don't get it

Another thing I've noticed is that some clusters are simply more finicky than others. I'm using SLK32 gauges from a 2002 model (SRT's older brother) and it took me three days to get just the right finesse on the ***** to set the clock... true story.

Yes the 1st time I reset mine went very easy did it on 1st try !!! Next time I changed the oil took me 3 or 4 tries, I even reread the manual again & again to see what I was missing ! Nothing but just to slow !!! It finally reset !!!!
